SPAIN: STILL A CAUSE: is a project and exhibition focused on the struggle for justice and recognition which is ongoing in Spain post Franco, with the notions of memory, loss, activism and solidarity implicit withing the work.

Initially inspired by the photojournalist Gerda Taro and her work during the Spanish Civil War, this first exhibition is dedicated to her memory,

Isabel Hernando Sacristán at a Demonstration in Guadalajara (May 2011) on the anniversary of the execution of her republican uncle [Vicente Relaño] in 1943, by the Franco regime, four years after the end of the Civil War. Proyecto y exposición por Christine Jones.

SPAIN: STILL A CAUSE; es un proyecto y exposición centrado en la lucha por la justicia y el reconocimiento que tiene lugar en la España post Franco, con las nociones de memoria, pérdida, activismo y solidaridad implícita en este trabajo.

Inicialmente inspirado por la fotoperiodista Gerda Taro y su trabajo durante la guerra civil española, esta primera exposición está dedicada a su memoria.

Isabel Hernando Sacristán durante una concentración en Guadalalajara  (mayo 2011) coincidiendo con el aniversario del asesinato de su tío republicano, [Vicente Relaño] en 1943, por el régimen de Franco, cuatro años después del final de la guerra civil. Aquí está representada sosteniendo una pancarta:  «Verdad, justicia y reparación para las víctimas del franquismo»

Pau Alabajos is un cantautor protesta de Torrent (en las afueras de Valencia) retratado aquí frente a una placa salpicada de pintura que conmemoria a José Antonio Primo de Rivera, el fundador del partido fascista, Falange Española. Valencia mayo 2011.
